Why should I enter USA’s Royal Elite National Pageant?

Our motto is “Use your crown to make a difference”. We strongly encourage self confidence, dedication, loyalty, honor and integrity.   You will create memories that will last a lifetime and it is very likely you will make friends you will cherish for years to come! The self-confidence and experience you will gain from interviewing and appearing on stage in front of an audience will be amazing. You will also build important life skills as well. What divisions are offered? Preteen 9-12, Jr. Teen 13-15, Teen 16-19, Miss 20-25, Mrs.  21& up Married, Ms. 26-39 any marital status, Ms. Woman 40 & up any marital status

HOW DO I ENTER?  We accept at-large delegates from all states.

 *An at-large  delegate is a contestant who did not go through a preliminary competition to receive her title. She is selected through an application process and is responsible for all fees and duties required of a titleholder. The at-large title carries the same amount of clout as a contestant that wins her title in a preliminary competition. The potential delegate will submit a application and a photo for consideration. Once your application has been approved, you will be notified by email. Titles are awarded by the national office and at the sole discretion of the National Director.  Any questions about a title should be directed to the national office.

What is the entry fee? Entry fees are $450.00 and  secure a state title ,a nonrefundable deposit of $75.00 is required to hold a state title in any division.  The delegate  is required to finalize payment to the national office 30 days before the national pageant.  Crown & Sash  will not be sent to said delegate until all fees are paid in full. Any fees paid  are non-refundable.

Why is this entry/sponsor fee required?

The total sponsor fee is $450.00 and can be divided up into payments if you request.  The sponsor fee pays for the cost of producing the pageant, awards, trophies, choreographers, emcees, lighting, sound, staging, judges expenses, staff, florists, hotel ballroom rental, awards, printed materials, office support and all of the many other things that go together to make the pageant special for you, the delegate. You may have as many or as few sponsors as you wish contributing to make up your total sponsor fee of $450. Businesses, family, friends, or fundraising activities are all great ideas for raising your  entrysponsor fee.

 

IS PREVIOUS PAGEANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO ENTER?

Absolutely not. Anyone is quite capable of doing well and even winning in our system regardless of prior pageant experience. We will provide you with all the information and help you need. We are looking for a confident delegate who can proudly represent her state. First time contestants, make great contestants and can make wonderful winners

How am I scored? You are scored 40% for Interview , 25% on Evening Gown Appearance, 25% on Red Carpet Fashion, and Photogenic 10%

How is interview conducted?  It’s a panel style interview, 5-7 minutes long,  and you will be asked questions from your judges information form. No political or religious questions are allowed.

What awards are given? Semi-finalists are based on the number of delegates in each division. Awards that will be given in each division are;  Most Photogenic, Media, and a Director's award 

Is there a swimsuit competition?

No, there is no swimsuit competition. We only  have the four required competitions.

DO I have to raise my entry-sponsor fee or can I just pay it?

It is up to you. You can either raise your entry/sponsor  fee, or you can just pay it. Whichever works best for you and your family. Remember that the total entry/ sponsor fee is $450.

Q. Do I need a hair and make-up artist?  

A: No, you do not. You may use a hair and make-up artist .
No one besides staff, and 1 family member for the preteen division only,  will be allowed in the dressing rooms or backstage at any time. This means no hair/make-up artists, family members, or guests. This rule will be strictly enforced.  You can have your own hair/make-up artist, however, your appointments with hair/make-up artists MUST NOT interfere with production rehearsals, pageant events, or the actual pageant competition.  Delgates are expected to be on time and attend all scheduled events and rehearsals. 

 

Q: Are there any height or weight requirements to compete in the pageant?  

A: Absolutely not! Each contestant in our pageant is judged individually, and not a specific body measurement.

Q: Do I need to stay at the host hotel during the pageant weekend?  

A: All contestants are required to stay at the host hotel throughout the duration of the pageant activities.  Staying at the host hotel helps to make your pageant experience more enjoyable since all  of the events will be held at the Double Tree Hotel in Roswell Ga..  The convenience of staying at the host hotel is unbeatable.  There are several wardrobe changes during competition, parties and events throughout the weekend.  There is no hassle of finding a parking space and rushing to your events.  And after the day is done, simply take the elevator up to your guest room for a good night’s sleep.

Q: Is there a talent portion to the pageant?

A: No there is not . There are four scored categories for all divisions

Q: Who are the pageant judges?  

A: The pageant judging panel consists of experienced judges from the pageant industry, media, and the business community.

What should I do if a sponsor gives me cash for my entry/sponsor fee?  

A: If you receive cash contributions for your entry/sponsor fee, you may put that money into a money order or send a personal check. Please DO NOT send cash through the mail at any time.. Contact the director for proper addressing and payment.

What if I miss the deadline to enter?

A: Deadlines are very important to us in order to make timely program preparations. However, we realize that unexpected circumstances can arise and that the collection of sponsorship may take longer than expected. Therefore, extensions on due dates are available when needed. If you need an extension, please call or email the pageant offices and request a new due date before your listed due date. Some deadlines cannot be extended; however, we will work with you on those that can.

Do I have to sell ads for program books?

No, selling advertising is not required, and not mandatory
