Why should I enter USA’s Royal Elite National Pageant?
Our motto is “Use your crown to make a difference”. We strongly encourage self confidence, dedication, loyalty, honor and integrity. You will create memories that will last a lifetime and it is very likely you will make friends you will cherish for years to come! The self-confidence and experience you will gain from interviewing and appearing on stage in front of an audience will be amazing. You will also build important life skills as well. HOW DO I ENTER?
This is very easy :)
First you send an email to : winthecrown@yahoo.com
Please give your name, state you want to represent, and division you are interested in, also your phone number and email address.
Once we receive your email someone will return your email and you will fill in your application.
You will then need to return your application with a photo ( jpg. imgge or snapshot). Once we receive your application and photo, we will notify you and conduct a phone interview with you.
Afterwards a decision will be made and you will be notified via email of our decision.
We accept at-large delegates from all states.
Titles are awarded by the national office and at the sole discretion of the National Director. Any questions about a title should be directed to the national office. Contestant must submit an additional $200 sponsor fee installment (to be deducted from the $495 sponsor fee) within 30 days of notification of acceptance. If she fails to do so, her title may be offered to another individual, with no refunds no exceptions.
What is the entry fee and what does it include? Entry fees are $495.00 and this includes your your salute to diva's meet and greet party. To secure a state title ,a nonrefundable deposit of $200.00 is required to hold a state title in any division. Crown & Sash will not be sent to said delegate until all fees are paid in full. Any fees paid are non-refundable. Please allow 4 weeks for crown and sash processing and delivery.
Contact the director for state or regional titles, they are awarded on a first come, first serve basisIf you enter 45 days away from nationals you will receive your crown and sash at orientation.
Why is this entry/sponsor fee required?
The total sponsor fee is $495.00 and can be divided up into 4 payments if you request. The sponsor fee pays for the cost of producing the pageant, awards, trophies, choreographers, emcees, lighting, sound, staging, judges expenses, staff, florists, hotel ballroom rental, awards, printed materials, office support and all of the many other things that go together to make the pageant special for you, the delegate. You may have as many or as few sponsors as you wish contributing to make up your total sponsor fee of $495. Businesses, family, friends, or fund raising activities are all great ideas for raising your entry sponsor fee.
IS PREVIOUS PAGEANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO ENTER?
Absolutely not. Anyone is quite capable of doing well and even winning in our system regardless of prior pageant experience. We will provide you with all the information and help you need. We are looking for a confident delegate who can proudly represent her state. First time contestants, make great contestants and can make wonderful winners
How is interview conducted? It’s a panel style or round robin interview, 5-7 minutes long, and you will be asked questions from your judges information form. No political or religious questions are allowed.
DO I have to raise my entry-sponsor fee or can I just pay it?
It is up to you. You can either raise your entry/sponsor fee, or you can just pay it. Whichever works best for you and your family. Remember that the total entry/ sponsor fee is $495.
Q. Do I need a hair and make-up artist?
A: No, you do not. You may use a hair and make-up artist . No one besides staff, and 1 family member for the preteen division only, will be allowed in the dressing rooms or backstage at any time. NO HAIR AND MAKE UP ARTIST IN THE DRESSING ROOM AREA, only in your hotel room. This rule will be strictly enforced. You can have your own hair/make-up artist, however, your appointments with hair/make-up artists MUST NOT interfere with production rehearsals, pageant events, or the actual pageant competition. Delgates are expected to be on time and attend all scheduled events and rehearsals.
Q: Are there any height or weight requirements to compete in the pageant?
A: Absolutely not! Each contestant in our pageant is judged individually, and not a specific body measurement.
Q: Do I need to stay at the host hotel during the pageant weekend?
No, I will provide a list of the area hotels for you. I will have orientation at a hotel and possibly a hotel with that is offering USA's contestants a discounted rate. That location is TBA.
Q: Is there a talent portion to the pageant?
A: No there is not . There are four scored categories for all divisions, for Jr. Miss only 3 scored categories
Q: Who are the pageant judges?
A: The pageant judging panel consists of experienced judges from the pageant industry, media, and the business community.
What should I do if a sponsor gives me cash for my entry/sponsor fee?
A: If you receive cash contributions for your entry/sponsor fee, you may put that money into a money order or send a personal check. Please DO NOT send cash through the mail at any time.. Contact the director for proper addressing and payment.
What if I miss the deadline to enter?
A: Deadlines are very important to us in order to make timely program preparations. However, we realize that unexpected circumstances can arise and that the collection of sponsorship may take longer than expected. Therefore, extensions on due dates are available when needed. If you need an extension, please call or email the pageant offices and request a new due date before your listed due date. Some deadlines cannot be extended; however, we will work with you on those that can.
Do I have to sell ads for program books?
I will have a program book. If you want to purchase an ad, this is optional and not required.
OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
USA’s PAGEANT’S, INC.
1. Contestants: All Age Divisions: Must be a natural-born genetic female, Must meet the age requirements as of the date of the national pageant. Ms. contestants may be single, divorced, or widowed. May or may not have children. Mrs. Contestants must be married to a natural born genetic male, and reside with the spouse.
2. Contestant must never have been convicted of any crime. Any contestant, who is caught defaming the pageant before, during, or after the competition will be automatically disqualified, with no refund.
3. Contestant must be a U.S. Citizen, attend school, live, or work in the state she is representing. USA’s Pageant’s, Inc. reserves the right to split or combine or cancel any division.
4. Contestant must never have, nor will she during her reign, pose for any pictures, film, or video associated or related to any nudity or pornography. Nor have ever or presently involved any form of employment which involves partial or complete nudity. Contestant agrees to conduct herself with honor and integrity in the areas of my space, facebook, blogspots, etc, or any related world wide website. Any of the above-described violations, will result in immediate title disqualification, and relinquishment of all prizes, etc. No exceptions, no refunds. If I have a www public social media page, I will provide it to my National director.
5. Any unsportsmanlike behavior by contestant or any member of her entourage , before, during, or after the competition, will result in immediate disqualification, with no refund. All decisions of the judges/officials are final and irreversible.
6.Contestant will permit USA’s PAGEANTS, INC., and their licensees the right to use the contestant’s photograph for promotional purposes.
7. Contestant Responsibility:
§ If selected, applicants agree to participate in the USA’s 2012 ROYAL ELITE National Pageant.
§ No refunds will be given, NO exceptions. Any fees paid are for the current 2012 year.
§ All Contestants will be on time for and attend all rehearsals and events.
§ All Contestants will participate in all categories.
§ All Prizes awarded are in new condition. USA’s Pageants are not responsible for replacing broken, lost, stolen crowns or sashes. USA’s Pageants reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal value, if a specified prize becomes unavailable
§ If for any reason a USA’s titleholder is unable to fulfill the obligations, the title will be awarded to the next placing contestant. If a titleholder is disqualified or relinquished of her obligations, she is required to submit any and all prizes in the condition they received them, to the national office within 5 business days of this decision, or legal action will be taken.
§ No experience required participating in the national pageant.
§ USA’s Pageants are not responsible for loses, theft, travel, food, lodging, wardrobe, transportation, any expenses incurred from the contestant, etc.
§ Entry fee may be paid by money order, or PayPal only, no personal checks accepted
You must return the following year to crown your successor
8. USA’S ROYAL ELITE titleholders must make a minimum of 12 quality appearances during their reign.
9. USA’s Pageant’s, Inc. is not responsible for the failure of sponsors to provide promised awards and prizes.USA’s Pageants reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal value, if a specified prize becomes unavailable.
10. USA’s Pageants, Inc. reserves the right to change the location and/or date of the State/National Pageant should it be required.
11. I agree fully, without reservation, that USA’s Director reserves the right, while you are a USA’s titleholder, to use her discretion, as to which pageant systems you would be given permission to compete in. I will not compete in or any other National/International pageant system during the current year of my reign without my directors approval. I will notify my director by email and/or phone 30 days before I consider any to participate in.
